Webb telescope catches specks of dust being blown out of two busy galaxiesتلسکوپ Webb ذرات ریز غبار در حال خروج از دو کهکشان پرفعالیت را رصد کرد
Tiny soot-like dust grains are being carried out of two nearby galaxies by hot gas. Using the James Webb Space Telescope, astronomers measured that dust moving about 30 kilometres per second faster than the cold gas beside it.

Why it matters
Galaxies do not keep everything they are made of. When many stars are born and die at once, the explosions push gas and dust out into deep space, and that material can later help build other galaxies. Measuring how fast dust moves was almost impossible before, because dust does not glow in sharp colours the way gas does. This result covers only the first 100 light-years of two winds, so how the dust behaves further out is still an open question.
