Phone use after 10 pm is linked to later bedtimes and less sleep for teensاستفاده از گوشی موبایل بعد از 10 pm با دیرتر به خواب رفتن و کاهش ساعات خواب نوجوانان مرتبط است
On nights teenagers used their phones more than their own usual amount after 10 pm, they fell asleep about 65 minutes later and slept 20 minutes less. Phones and wrist trackers recorded this automatically across 7,591 nights from 425 US teens.

Why it matters
Many teenagers do not get enough sleep, and sleep shapes mood, learning and health. Most earlier studies asked people to remember their own habits, which is unreliable; here devices recorded both the phone use and the sleep. But this only shows a link, and part of that link is obvious: if you are on your phone, you are not yet asleep. It does not prove that putting the phone down earlier would, by itself, give a teenager more sleep.
